In proud partnership with the Womens Global Connection, a pilot project has been initiated to build Learning Centers in Tanzania as well as document and study the successes and challenges associated with real-world installations of the Solar Wireless Network. Of particular importance for our technical advancement is gathering insights about aspects of the initial installation process that could be even further improved, and discovering universal as well as location-specific technical issues that may occur during an on-going operation of the total system.

Furthermore, the pilot project offers a tremendous opportunity to learn more about practical applications of the Solar Wireless Network and its actual impact on the lives of individuals and entire communities.

The first pilot installation has been successfully implemented in Bukoba, a town situated at the Western shore of Lake Victoria in northwest Tanzania.
